Summer Days
Whew...I cannot believe we have two weeks of summer left before school starts. Throughout the summer we have seen movies, played with friends (had friends visit from Charlotte!!), gone to beach/pool, hit up the water park, spent time on the River, and basically everything you do in the summer! We have also done our back to school shopping and Norah has one more camp next week at Church. We hopefully will squeeze in a little bit more fun along with some lazy days before summer 2017 comes to an end.
Washington, DC
Right after the 4th...Norah and I headed to Washington, DC with my mom for a few nights! We stayed HERE which ended up being a great location. We visited a couple of museums, gardens, and of course an indoor pool (she did the gym a little too.) We ate out and did a little shopping. So glad Norah got to go to DC again and spend sometime with her Nini too.
July 4th
This was the first July 4th week without Jeff's mom and it definitely was on our minds. We spent the day at the beach and at night we went to Georgetown to a friend's house for food, fun, and fireworks!
Norah's 10th Birthday!!
We definitely celebrated Norah's birthday for the month of June! It is hard to believe that she is 10 years old! Seems like yesterday she was just a little girl...man...time really does go by so fast! I look back at pictures of her from each of her birthdays...it is crazy to see how much she has grown and changed. Norah is such an amazing girl who is loved beyond anything measurable!! Plus she will always be my baby!
Lake Burton
So behind in posting summer pics! Back in June...Norah and I were invited to go with friends to their family's lake house in Lake Burton. It was my first time at Lake Burton and it was beyond beautiful!! Definitely a place I want to visit again. It was a little overcast/drizzly at times but it didn't matter a bit. Norah lived in the water...it was crystal clear! And the house was amazing and it blended right into the outdoor space...it was like the most peaceful, magnificent set up! And Norah became obsessed with paddle boarding which was cool!
