I love that it is a new year. I know it is going to be the best yet! 2012 was a year of change and now after living in our new city and home for 6 months we are starting to get settled in to our new life. I have made my goals for the coming year and even written exactly how I hope to accomplish them. We even made a family goal of having family night every Wednesday doing something together and less tv/computer. We had a great New Year's Eve burning Christmas trees...
Seriously who would have ever known that a 6 foot Christmas tree would cause a 10 foot fire! Thanks to the Wilcox family for having us over with others as we ate yummy food, talked, and kids played...it was perfect. And of course the night ended with the best football game and the Clemson Tigers winning!! What a game!
I also ran for the first time yesterday since the gallbladder debacle and it was great! Have missed working out and playing tennis! Also finished the re-read of HP book 4 (yes, I also watched all the movies over break too! Can we say obsessed?! Ha!) and now next up to read is the "The Language of Flowers" by Vanessa Diffenbaugh for the new book club we are having...so excited as I have always wanted to do a book club!
Also my birthday is this month...I'll be 35 in 24 days...and I can't wait! I used to be super pumped for my birthday then I turned 30 and blah...but now I'm excited again so the count down has started!
We ate all the good luck foods today and are ready for 2013! Now we are continuing to watch loads of football, relaxing and gearing up for the rest of the week. Also I have to mention that 3 of my sweet students from last year "facetimed" me and we got to chat the other night! So hello girls..it was so good to see and talk to you!
