Catching up...November 2017

Norah got picked as a representative for her 5th grade class then got picked to run for Vice President. She made her posters and wrote her own speech. She was so excited and I was so proud of her!! She did not win...she ran against another girl and boy...and the boy won. I swear the girl vote was split. Ha! She was disappointed to lose but said she would run again...that is my girl!!

Jeff and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversay in November....November 13, 2004. We met in April 2002 so have been together 15 1/2 years...crazy!! We went to Greenville, SC for a weekend. I love Greenville! We stayed downtown, went to Halls Steakhouse, and saw Les Mis the first night. The second night we watched the Tigers play at a local bar. The downside to the weekend was that I was not feeling well at all so it put a damper on all I could do.

I loved looking for the Mice on Main figurines. It was fun!

When I got home...I was so excited to see baby girl! We went and saw the new "Thor" and it was great!

Norah played her second tennis tournament and it was freezing...it was 30 degrees the first match!!!! She played really well but the weather was freakish so it was hard to play in! She wants to play another one but would like to wait til Spring.

Thanksgiving...Norah and Jeff headed to Charlotte on Wednesday and got to go to a Charlotte Hornets game. They had a blast and the Hornets won too!

I drove up Thursday early morning (hard to leave Darcy home when he is still sick from September!) Forgot to take pics all day...but got one of the brothers before we headed to our hotel for the night.

We found a restaurant open that night so we could have a quick snack before bed.

The view from our hotel we stayed in...it was in SouthPark. Oh Charlotte...I sure miss ya!

Catching Up...October 2017

Norah and I went and played tourist in Myrtle Beach one day...went to WonderWorks. We had never been there and we both had fun!

Then we headed to Market Common for our usual sushi...we always get three rolls and can never finish it...but like the variety!

And tried the new donut place...pretty good! And it is hard to tell in pic but they are actually like mini donuts!

My cousin, Erica, got married in October. It was a beautiful wedding at Litchfield Plantation. Pics from Rehearsal dinner then wedding.

The next day my aunt hosted a brunch at her house. Norah got to go to this for part of the wedding. It was also cotillion for October right afterwards. (She sprained her arm when she fell during tennis and had to wear a brace for two weeks.)

Norah and Makayla at lunch!

Norah played in her first tennis tournament and she loved it!

For Halloween....Norah and Makayla were Thing 1 and 2!

Just the dogs and Jeff hanging out!

Catching Up-September 2017

Sweet Darcy

Sweet Finn

Hurricane came through and Jeff went to check things out on the beach and ran into Father Wil. We were lucky and did not sustain any damage at our house except with one tree.

I took this pic of Norah probably a day after the hurricane had passed at our local library...the weather was back to normal!

Norah had so much fun during spirit week at her school!

The color run was also a hit at her school too!!

This is Norah with her teacher, Ms. Sumlin

The girls watching the Homecoming parade

Norah went to Rockin' Jump with her friend's Church group

Norah's first cotillion

The girls at dinner one night

A movie day...lunch and then the movie!

Jeff went with us to Target and tried on these halloween costume heads...hilarious!

Catching Up...August 2017

So I finally got a new laptop and since I have some time over Christmas break...I want to update the ole' blog with all my pictures since this is my one place I keep pictures all organized. So here goes where I left off...

Having Crabs at Aunt Susan's House

The view from her house while we were eating!

Sweet Darcy...He wasn't sick yet...but he got an ear infection in September and we are still dealing with it now in December. Feel so bad for him.

Norah went to Agape Camp for a week in August...it was local so they just went each day. She really enjoyed it!

We went to lunch one day in Georgetown. The sky was the perfect blue.

The big eclipse happened and it was really cool. I loved the little crescent shapes of light on the ground.

And then came the day...1st day of 5th grade! Where has time gone! Norah is growing up so fast!!

This is a first day of school for Norah through the years...
